Founded in the Fall of 1989, RISING STAR F.C. has grown from a single team of U-14 Boys to 12 Travel Teams and 17 Intramural Teams.  Players range from U-6 up to Men's Over 30.

In 1992 Rising Star began hosting THE BRITISH AMERICAN SOCCER CAMP. Each year this camp has continued to grow  in size and has featured the world wide accepted "Coerver Training Method".   With this camp, Rising Star has been able to establish contacts throughout the world.  The camp is now called B.E.S.T. (British European Soccer Tuition).

In 1994 the club won it's first State Championship by capturing the DICK BURKE STATE CUP in the U-12 Boys age group. Seven more State Championships have been added between 2000 and 2003. Five indoor, which were back to back by the U-11 and U-12 Red Devils Boys Team in 2000 and 2001, the U-16 and U-17 Sambas Boys Team back to back in 2002 and 2003, and the U-13 Kicks Boys in 2003, as well as, two outdoor by the U-14 Sambas Boys Team in 2000 and the U-12 Kicks Boys Team in 2002.

In 1994 Rising Star began providing its players with International Training and Travel experiences. The club now sponsors a trip to South America, in cooperation with its partner professional club Americanes F.C. of Natal, Rio de Negro, Brazil. The B.E.S.T. Camps partnership with the Moneysfield Club of Portsmouth, England allows for training and tournament play in Great Britain and throughout Europe. These trips help to increase each player’s soccer awareness, as well as, provide a unique educational experience.

In 1994, Rising Star also started a NCAA COMMITTEE that helps players continue their soccer play at the college level. Rising Star seeks Scholarship money from local supporters. Rising Star requires two things from all of its players: a desire to play soccer at their highest level and a desire to become a better person from this experience. We accept players from any area and we are not affiliated with any school district. Many players have taken advantage of this policy.

Rising Star is a member of USYSA and EPYSA Soccer Associations. It's youth teams participate in the Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League and the LANCO Youth Soccer League.

Seven Rising Star players; Drew Kopp, Rick Petrosky, Matt Nimmo, Nick Hostetter, Conner Fry, Keli Maddox and John Lentz have won the Lancaster-Lebanon League MVP Award in 1994-1999. Colby Hossler and Josh Grill won the CCAC MVP for private schools. Drew Kopp, Dan Hetrick and Charlie Grimes have now all joined the ranks of professional soccer. In addition to the players listed above, we have numerous players that are currently playing college soccer at Division 1, 2 and 3 schools. Also, every year Rising Star players have been selected to their respective league's all-star teams.

1998 brought expansion for Rising Star.  For the previous 2 years Rising Star F.C. and the CQM Soccer Club had been discussing the possibilities of a merger between the two organizations.  In 1998, this merger was finalized bringing together two organizations that individually were successful both indoor and outdoor.
