Rising Star Soccer Field Maintenance - Tasks & Schedule.  

Timing:          Every Thursday, 5:30 - 8:00 PM  (anytime you are able to give during this time is appreciated!)

  Tasks:

Ø      Line painting on fields

Ø      Trimming around goals

Ø      Weed killing, when needed

Ø      Field prep (included finding corners and survey)

Ø      Goal moving; placement, setting in, removal when necessary

Ø      Trash can placement and emptying

Ø      Shed maintenance (grounds portion)

Ø      Snack Bar maintenance

  Line Painting – All fields where needed have lines painted – Micros, U8, both U10s, U12 and U14.

Trimming - monthly or as needed, around shed and a few other hard to mow places

Weed Killing - Spring, Summer, Fall (every 6 weeks or so, as needed, in spots)

  Field Prep - July  (main prep, lots to do), August (remove for horse show) October/November (storage)

  Trash cans - empty at Fairgrounds dumpsters as needed (every week or 2), put out cans in July; put away in November

  Shed maintenance (Grounds)- sweep out, keep clear paths in mower area (no dumping of soccer equipment)

  Snack Bar Maintenance – early season prep snack bar area, move equipment, inventory needs
